Terms of Use

Latino Connect Hub is an online directory connecting Latin community businesses in New Zealand with consumers. We act solely as a promotional platform to provide visibility to these businesses. We do not participate in, control, or take any responsibility for the negotiations, deals, or quality of services provided by the businesses to the users. Any agreements, transactions, or communications made are strictly between the consumer and the business, and we are not a party to any such transactions.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Listed businesses must operate legally in New Zealand.

• Provide true, complete, and up-to-date information. • Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for all activity on your account. • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

It is prohibited to: • Publish false, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content. • Collect other users' data (scraping, harvesting). • Attempt to bypass security, RLS, or rate-limiting. • Send spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising. • Use the platform for fraud or unfair competition. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (descriptions, photos, events). By publishing, you grant Latino Connect Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote this content within the platform. You warrant that you have the rights to all content submitted.

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for the services provided. Leads sent via the platform must be handled in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020 — use the data only to reply to the consumer.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe). Refunds are subject to the plan's policy and New Zealand consumer law (Consumer Guarantees Act 1993).

Logos, brand, code, and design of Latino Connect Hub are protected. Copying, redistributing, or creating derivative works without authorization is prohibited.

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of third-party listings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.

You can terminate your account at any time through the dashboard or by requesting it at hello@latinoconnecthub.co.nz. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified by email or via a platform notice. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Auckland, NZ.
